Marimekko’s Lokki Pergola mugs comes in a set of two prints, one with the Lokki pattern and the other with the Lokki Pergola pattern.
The Lokki Pergola pattern combines two rhythmic Maija Isola designs from the 1960s, inspired by her vision of a Lokki (sea gull) flying towards her while she was standing by the window on a sunny day. The wide folds of the curtain casted shadows on the fabric which sparked her creative desire to create wave designs on fabric.
The mugs are made of dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe white stoneware.
